Coleridge’s Tour of 1799
In November 1799, Coleridge made a tour with Wordsworth of the Lake District and wrote some comments in his notebook. The route they took is indicated on the map. It begins at Hawes Water (at the bottom of the map) and ends at Eusemere (at the northern end of Ullswater). Click on the circles for the relelvant extracts from his notebooks (see references).
